That is why the competition becomes very huge. Private medical university in India is so costly that it goes beyond the reach of common people.
Thus the best option for fulfilling the dreams of becoming a doctor is by pursuing MBBS in abroad.

Because it almost takes 50 years of time for any medical institution to grow, mature and deeply rooted in medical studies. For example, you can choose I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University (MSMU), Russia which was founded in 1758, Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University (PRNRMU), Russia established in 1906, Rostov State Medical University, Russia established in 1918, Odessa State Medical University, Ukraine established in 1900, M.Gorky Donetsk National Medical University, Ukraine established in 1930, Crimea State Medical University, Ukraine that was established in 1931, Ovidius University of Constanta, Romania established in 1961, etc.
2. Teaching Methodology: Next important thing is that you should check the teaching methodology of the university. The university should have ample clinical teaching facilities so that students can have best clinical practice. In fact, the university should give more emphasis on clinical training rather than theoretical practice. Clinical practice is very important for any medical students as Clinical training not only helps the students to retain knowledge better but also helps students to maintain a rapport with the patients.
3. Teacher student ratio: Another important thing that you should note while taking admission in MBBS is the ratio of the teacher and student in the university. The teacher-student ratio should not be greater than 1:15. Because in such case teacher can properly take care of their students and the students can closely interact with the professors and teaching staffs.
4. Research Facilities: You should also look whether the medical institutions have ample research facilities or not. Good research facilities is must in a good medical university, it goes hand in hand with medical education. A good medical college must have research programs and opportunities for research in each and every department.
5. Recognition and Accreditation: The most vital thing in choosing the medical university in abroad is to check its recognition and accreditation. It is very important that every Indian student should take MBBS admission in abroad only to that medical university which are approved and recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI). Otherwise, the student will not be allowed to seat for the screening test in India, which is compulsory for them to clear in order to practice in India. The university where you are going to take admission in abroad should be at least recognized from World Health Organization (WHO) and MCI and the name of the university should be there in the World directory of Medical School, which are published by WHO.
