Belarus is the largest landlocked country in Eastern Europe. Belarus is officially known as the Republic of Belarus and was formerly known as Byelorussia or Belorussia. The climate of Belarus is moderately continental. The winters of Belarus are cold, snowy and humid, summers are warm and autumns are damp. The average temperature during the winter goes down to -6° Celsius and the average temperature during the summer rises up to 18° Celsius. The average rainfall of Belarus is 550-700 mm.
The transportation facility of Belarus is very developed. Railway transportation system is very popular and convenient.
