Belarus covers a total land area of 207,600 square kilometers. It is surrounded by the countries like Russia to the eastern and northeastern side, Latvia towards its northern side, Lithuania towards its northwestern side, Poland towards the western side and Ukraine towards the southern side. The country is heavily forested and consists of many rolling hills and rivers. The most significant hill in the country is Dzyarzhynskaya Hill, which lies at the highest point of about 1,135 feet above the sea level.
