The transportation system of Ukraine consists of ground transportation, water transportation and air transportation. The ground transportation is well-developed in Ukraine. The train network is very advanced and is connected to all the cities of Ukraine. Trains are cheaper and popular mode of transportation in Ukraine. Trams, buses and trolleybuses are also available in Ukraine. Generally there are two types of buses – Avtobusy and Marshrutki. Avtobusy are the buses that will stop only at the designated and equipped bus stop. These types of buses are owned the state government of Ukraine. Marshrutki are shuttle buses or mini buses that will stops wherever the passenger requests. It is the most popular types of buses in Ukraine. Marshrutki buses are run by the private companies. The water transportations are navigable on some rivers like Danube, Dnieper and Pripyat rivers. But these rivers frezes in winter and the navigation are not possible during winters. The major airports of Ukraine are Kiev Boryspil Airport, Dnipropetrovsk Airport, Kharkiv Airport, Lviv Airport, Donetsk Airport and Simferopol Airport that connects Ukraine to the other part of the World.
